Bank Balance as of 10/13/10 $45,975 (This includes all deposits made over the 4 weeks and reflects the $1,000 down payment for Castaways)

I made a deposit of $1,000 to the Castaways.

I have not setup Quicken with the approved budget yet. It is a work in progress and should be done by the next meeting. The process is time consuming, however, will worth the effort as I explained previously. Once I get this setup and change banks we will know exactly what is coming in and what is going out.

I have not made arrangements with the UPS Store. I am waiting until late November to do that.

I have not made arrangements with the new storage company because there is no hurry to complete that and, as we discussed the last time, to possibly do it in Dec.

Currently we are still with Union Bank. I will be making the change to Wells Fargo in during Thanksgiving week in November.

I am not sending a P/L this time because it will read exactly as the last one you received. The reason for this is that I haven't had the time to enter the deposits that have been made and their respective categories. The only debit was for the deposit for the Castaways. I am planning on getting everything in and the budget completed within the next few weeks. Then at that time I will send the executive board a copy of the P/L and a break down of the budgets according to what was recently approved.

Account $45,643 as 7/30/10
Concern about our renewals in various organization was raised by Marlene. All of our memberships are paid except for CAD. We possibly paid a two year membership and there is no place on the site for organizational memberships so I have written to them for clarification. As soon has I hear from them I will let you know the status.
All bills are paid and up to date. In particular the liability insurance with the new carrier was paid. I am still getting bills from Hartford.
Two days ago I received a package from UPS Store. In the package was about 20 memberships renewals several of them post marked July 2nd. It is clear they don't understand what weekly means. I have talked to the staff and I have talked to the owner and apparently they can't follow instructions. Really need to find another place.
In that package was an invitation to sponsor CSDR the Dead Silence Dinner. $500 Skeleton Sponsor (cheapest sponsorship, highest is $2,500) will receive recognition at the event, 4 seats at the table and half page ad in the program bank.The event is Oct 28th.
CSDR has also asked if we would like to volunteer to work at the Deaf National Prep Volleyball tournament. This will take place from Oct 1st through the 3rd. They need help in four areas - admissions, hospitality, statistics and general.
