Southern California Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf

SCRID is an affiliate chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). It is the mission of the Southern California Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf to promote best practices, equity, and representation within the profession of Sign Language Interpreting; provide professional development and education for current and future practitioners; serve as a forum for ongoing assessment of and response to community needs; and, advocate to the public for the highest standards in the provision of interpreting services for users of both sign languages and spoken languages.

Individual who is actively engaged in interpreting and/or transliterating but who does not hold valid certification accepted by RID. Includes voting privileges.

Associate - 2 Years (10% Savings) - $54.00 (USD) Subscription period: 2 years No automatically recurring payments

Associate - 3 Years (15% Savings) - $81.00 (USD) Subscription period: 3 years No automatically recurring payments

Associate Senior - $24.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments SCRID associate members who are at least 55 years of age or older at the time of joining. This level is a 20% discount of associate membership.
Must be renewed annually. Must show proof of show proof of eligibility by uploading a JPEG of valid driver license or other government document. (Only JPEGs are accepted.)
