School districts used to be the first job for newly-graduated ITP students.  Since 2007, new state standards for K-12 interpreters require a 4.0 on the EIPA or ESSE, or RID/NAD certification.  Whaaa?  What’s all the fuss?  Join us to find out about the intricacies of interpreting in K-12 settings: Interpreter standards, IEPs, Common Core Curriculum, Student language samples, and more!

RID CEUs:  0.30 Professional Studies available

The workshop will be conducted in ASL

(No voice interpretation will be provided)

Attend the SCRID General Meeting for a $15.00 discount!

(9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
