Friday, November 19, 2021
5pm-6:30pm PST
Zoom Online Meeting (link below)
Are you about to start your Interpreter Training Program? Or soon to graduate? Or maybe you’ve recently graduated and need some guidance and advice?
SCRID has invited a panel of Professional Interpreters to help guide those of you into your future careers and employment. They will provide a brief introduction of themselves and how they got into the field of ASL-English Interpreting, then will answer your questions!
When you register, please provide any questions on the registration page. If you have additional questions, you can e-mail them directly to: MembershipChair@SCRID.org
This event will be in ASL. Interpreters will not be provided.
*While SCRID has a bilingual/bicultural mission statement and commitment to inclusivity for Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of hearing, Deaf Disabled, etc., due to the two separate Panel events, students who are not yet fluent in ASL are being accommodated with an English-only event. This event is ASL-only. If you require other accommodations for this first Panel, please e-mail MembershipChair@SCRID.org
