  1. Login to the administrator area.

  2. Click Components, CiviCRM.

  3. Click Search – Advanced Search.

  4. Choose the relevant criteria.  For example, to create mailing labels for members, open the Memberships subpanel then choose the desired membership type(s) or status.
    1. May want to be sure to include Pending as a status because people may have check crossing in the mail.

    2. Location search uses the PRIMARY location for each contact by default.
      To search by specific location types (e.g. Home, Work...), check one or more boxes in the Address fields subpanel.

  5. Click Search.
  6. The result set will be displayed. Select “All # records” radio button.

  7. The more actions drop down will become active, choose Mailing Labels, click Go.]

  8. Select the Avery label
    1. 5160, 51261, 5162, 5163, 5164, 8600, L7160, L7161, L7163

  9. Select the location, Primary is the default and most likely address to use.
  10. Select “Do not print labels for contacts with “Do not mail” privacy option selected.”
  11. Contacts with the same address can be merged into a single label if desired.
  12. Click Make Mailing Labels.
