It’s that time again! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support for SCRID, your professional interpreter organization.
As a SCRID member you will enjoy discounts on workshops, plenty of opportunity for professional development and networking, as well as
SCRIDTalk, an email notification system for events and news pertinent to the interpreting field in Southern California. Most importantly, you have a
voice as a member of SCRID and the ability to shape the field of American Sign Language/English interpretation in Southern California.
To renew, download and fill out the 2010- 2011 application and mail to the address found on the application along with appropriate payment and any
documentation necessary for certified and student categories. You may also renew online.
New this year - you can join for multiple years! This will save you money and leave one less task to worry about for the next year or two. We
encourage you to try it out!
Please be aware that in order to be eligible to vote on SCRID matters you must hold current membership in both RID and SCRID.
Student and Supporting memberships do not have voting rights.
Mark your calendar for May *15, 2010 for the SCRID General Membership meeting* at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California. Campus map and directions to the meeting.
The meeting will be held in Room LTC-160 at 10:00 am. Meet the board of directors and committee chairs and many of your colleagues. This is a wonderful opportunity for professional networking! Visit the event calendar for more information on on the General Meeting and other events.
